Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease (Dr. Nathan D. Wong): Review of major and newer novel risk factors and relation to and evidence for preventing heart disease. Discussion of major clinical trial evidence and lifestyle and pharmacologic recommendations for prevention and risk reduction also given.
Preventing Heart Disease in Women (Dr. Nathan D. Wong): Discussion of cardiovascular risk factors and prevention strategies in women, including latest evidence regarding efficacy of hormone replacement therapy and lipid-lowering interventions.
Nutritional Therapy and Antioxidants in the Prevention of Heart Disease (Dr. Nathan D. Wong): Discussion of epidemiological and clinical trial evidence, as well as latest recommendations regarding nutritional therapy and antioxidant use in the prevention of heart disease.
Lipid-Lowering and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention (Dr. Nathan D. Wong): Epidemiological and clinical trial evidence and latest recommendations regarding the efficacy of lowering LDL-cholesterol, raising HDL-cholesterol, and other lipid-related issues in the prevention of coronary heart disease and stroke.

Wong): Discussion of evidence relating coronary calcium evaluation and screening by electron beam computed tomography and other CT technologies to cardiovascular risk assessment, indications for screening, and future research directions.
Physical Activity for Weight Management and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention (Dr. Stanley Bassin): Research evidence and latest recommendations regarding role of physical activity and fitness in preventing heart disease and stroke.
